I think that the media institution such as IPC Media would be the best one to distribute my magazine. This is because, although it already distributes magazines such as; NNM, Uncut, and kerragne etc. My magazine is aimed at a much younger audience than these, therefore there is definatly a gap in the market for this. In addition to this the fact that this already distributed music magazines, and is well known for this means that they will have loyal consumers who will be very dedicated to this and therefore may be more intuned with the magazine and be interested in the branch of a new music magazine.
I did have a look at other distributers however they were all influenced by 80's music and i feel that the people who would have been interested in those types of magazines would not be the age group that i am aiming my music magazine at so therefore they may not be interested in the launch of a new music magazine so therefore i didnt choose these ones. I also thought that the likes of 'Q' magazine distributers would not be likely to want to distribute a new music magazine which could potentally be in competition to one of their existing sucessfull magazines that they have dedicated fans for.
